Accreditation

The Graduate Diploma of Gestalt Therapy is accredited with GANZ (Gestalt Australia and New Zealand). Graduates are eligible for professional membership of GANZ. Students are entitled to become student members.

The course is also designed to substantially meet the criteria for College Membership of the Psychotherapy And Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA).

Conditionally registered psychologists can apply to their principal supervisor for approval of the Gestalt course as counting towards 20 hours of their required supervision time.

The course has been assessed as a Continuing Medical Education activity, and allocated 50 points per year. (CME point allocation is not guaranteed and is subject to review by the RACGP). This provides an added benefit for any medical personnel wishing to improve their counselling skills .
