Weekend Workshops

These workshops are for all those who value good, nourishing and enduring relationships with others. Naturally that is dependent on the quality of your own relationship with yourself. We will be exploring different ways to keep your anxiety and stress down and your excitement in life more available to you. Some of the life sustaining adjustments that we learned in our families of origin can be creatively reframed as adults. New skills and awareness can emerge and be integrated in this safe environment as we work together.

Throughout the 2 days there will be time to work with your own personal issues and concerns in the world. We will explore how you make unique contact with yourself and how belief systems as well as past negative experiences can be the determining factors in not getting your real needs met. There will be specific tailoring of techniques and approaches for each individual.

Introduction To Gestalt
Cost: $300
Venue: 3 Church St, Waverley from 9:30 - 5:30pm. This workshop is led by Philip Oldfield, Co-Director of Sydney Gestalt Institute who has worked with Sydney Gestalt Institute since 1986.
A general overview of gestalt is given outlining the simplicity and powerful nature of how this modality works with expansion of awareness and encourages growth, wholeness and integration. He will offer an opportunity for gestalt experiments working with Found Objects.

Dates for 2010

First Level session times will be Thursday evening at 6:00pm - 9:30pm. Second Level sessions will be held on Wednesday nights 6pm - 9.30pm. Third Level sessions will be on Wednesday nights 6:00pm - 9:30pm and Wednesday afternoon from 12:30 – 4pm, and Fourth Level will be on Monday evenings 6:00pm - 9:30pm. All sessions will be held at 3 Church Street, Waverley. Please note dates may be subject to further change.

Dates for the weekend workshops are:

Term 1:

• March 20 & 21 for First Year
• April 10 & 11 Third Year
• April 17 & 18 Second Year and Fourth Year

Term 2:

• June 12 & 13 First Year and Second Year
• June 19 & 20 Third Year and Fourth Year

Term 3:

• September 11 & 12 First, Third and Fourth Year
• September 18 & 19 Second Year

Term 4:

• Residential October 29 – November 1
  

Term dates for 2010 are;

• Term 1 : week beginning March 8th - April 19th
• Term 2 : week beginning May 10th - June 28th
• Term 3 : week beginning August 16th - September 27th
• Term 4 : week beginning October 18th - November 29th.
